Respect For Tape is a project that is supposed to celebrate the times when cassette tapes reigned supreme. The artists recorded an album that was released on cassette and then on vinyl and CDs.
I created a project that consists of many levels of design and management. Among others, a collector’s box that contained collectible elements such as a cassette, a coin, a piece of a puzzle (which can be put together with other boxes). Inside the box, I designed a radio with a real opening mechanism and a pocket in which the cassette was located.
I also designed a book that describes the history of the cassette, the project and all the artists participating in Respect For Tape.
